Feed Our Souls Initiative
In 2019, we provided hot gourmet meals to over 200 of our housing insecure brothers and sisters. We partnered with global retail giant, TJX and local businesses, to host a free marketplace to support the health and wellness of those living in shelter in Toronto.
Beach Cleanups
In 2019 and 2021 we hosted two Beach Cleanups.
With the help of volunteers, we cleaned up the Beaches in Hamilton and in the East End of Toronto.
In 2022 we planted 300 trees with the help of 50+ volunteers in Hamilton, ON.
At least we tried…
In 2020, we petitioned the House of Commons to mandate the labelling of Genetically Modified Foods.
GMO Foods are labelled carcinogenic by the WHO.
We believe that Canadians shouldn’t have to pay a premium to avoid carcinogenic foods. We believe the government of Canada has a responsibility to monitor the deployment of dangerous technologies and empower Canadians with the knowledge of what they are consuming.
Unfortunately, the minister of Health, disagrees.
Our petition was denied, but now we have the government on record, repeating industry talking points and ignoring the will of Canadians.
